[Framers] Installing FrameMaker 19.

I am having a similar issue. I upgraded from Adobe Tech Comm Suite 2015 to Adobe Tech Comm Suite 2019 last week. Since that installation, I cannot right-click a file and choose to open with Frame 2015. The only option is to open with Frame 2019. I have tried to change the file association for .book and .fm files back to Frame 2015, but I do not even SEE that option any longer.
I contacted Adobe Support and after more than an hour on the phone with them, there was no resolution. The Support person went through the same troubleshooting steps I had already performed (not once but 3-4 times), then told me I didn't have Frame 15 on my computer even though Frame 2015 was open and she was looking at it! Then she said I must not have permissions to run the program -- although, clearly I had the appropriate permissions since I had the program open. The only change to my computer before this happened was the installation of ATC 2019.
A week later and several voice mails / emails from Adobe Support, this issue is not resolved although I do have a workaround. I open Frame 2015, then browse to the file I want to open. Much simpler to be able to right-click and open a file.

Hi Everyone,
I have been working on this issue off and on for 5 days if you include today. I have installed Adobe Tech Comm Suite 2017 including FrameMaker. I upgraded JUST FrameMaker from 2017 to 2019. Every time I try and install 2019, I get an error that 2017 cannot be found. I even enter the correct serial number for 20129, the Adobe installer acknowledges I am using the correct serial number but again says it cannot find 2017. I feel very stupid having to ask the list about an installation issue, so please don't be too hard on me. :-)

I'm saving structured XML files and am looking for how to define character entities for the degree ? and mu ? symbols. I noticed percent % comes out as a character entity (& percnt ; ) so I searched for that term and found a couple of files:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\AdobeFrameMaker12\Structure\xml\isoents\iso-num.ent (1 hit) Line 32: <!ENTITY percnt "%"> <!-- PERCENT SIGN -->
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\AdobeFrameMaker12\Structure\xml\isoents\isonum.rw (1 hit) Line 52: entity "percnt" is fm char 0x0025;
Is this looking in the right direction? It seems I could just add a couple of lines to these files if I knew how to code it properly (°), (µ).
