[Framers] Unlearn FM 7.2

Thanks for the links. I found the “guilty” word when I wrote the personal dictionary to a file and opened it in FM 7.2 (forgot to mention version). After deleting this word, I saved it as a text file according to instructions and renamed it to .dct from within FM. However, changing the personal dictionary to this new file did not change the function of the spelling checker, i.e. it did not identify the word, just said “Spelling ok”. Same thing if I marked all paragraphs for rechecking. Something seems to be strange with these dct files as I cannot see them in Explorer, only from within FM?

If I go into Character Designer and change language of the word, it will be identified by the spelling checker. That would indicate that the word is correct Swedish, ie passed through the default dictionary, but it is definitely not.

Likely the wrong spelling is in one of the many dictionaries that FrameMaker has. This article gives a good summary of the dictionaries: https://help.adobe.com/en_US/framemaker/2015/using/using-framemaker-2015/frm_text_tx/Dictionaries-.htm. It does not say which versions of FrameMaker it's for, but it's likely relevant for version 7.2?

I am updating a book and cannot get rid of an obviously misspelled word in the spelling checker, i.e it does not catch it. Same result if I copy the word to another book file or add it to a new standalone file, so obviously must be outside document level. If I change one letter in the word, it is immediately identified as misspelled.
