replacing paragraph styles in a book

Jon,

With the insertion point in a paragraph that uses "desiredstyle," from the Edit menu, select Copy Special, Paragraph Format. You now have the desired format on the clipboard.

Now, do a search and replace through the entire book, searching for paragraph tag "unwantedstyle" and choosing "By pasting" in the Change field. You might want to do one or two replaces individually to make sure this gives you what you want, but you can then do a "change all" for the book.

Not exactly automated, but it will do the whole book a lot faster than changing one tag at a time.
