Opening Acrobat 7.0 files in earlier versions

Jon,

When you say you "saved the .pdf"... do you mean you used Save As from
within FM, or opened and resaved an already existing .PDF, or
something else?

I use Acrobat 7 to save backwards for compatibility with 5 routinely,
and a number of my in-house users use Acrobat 6, but we haven't
encountered this problem.

One thing you might try is opening the file in Acrobat again, and
selecting File > Reduce File Size. The dialog box that pops up at that
point lets you select an earlier rev for compatibility, as well as
letting you change the file name, so you could try different older
versions.
