Just to underline what Stuart said, the positioning of text within cells is controlled by a number of interacting factors:

. The table cell margin settings on the Basic pane of the Table Designer

. The cell margin settings for the paragraph tag used in the cells, on the Table Cell pane of Paragraph Designer

. Any override settings you might have set up in the Row Format dialog

There may be others.
