Deleting Pages In PDF Error

I have a PDF file that I produced from FameMaker that will not allow me 
to delete any pages.  This is the first time I've had this problem.  The 
error message I get is "There was a problem reading this document 
(16)."  Has anyone encountered this before and what is the problem if 
you know?
