XREF CONUNDRUM

Yes, that's right the format is "Page <$pagenum>" - I abbreviated it in my original message. Now what's odd is that one marker in a cell causes trouble and the other one, just next to it with exactly same settings doesn't. Moreover if I just retype the marker text inside the marker and re-XRef it to my destination doc it comes out good. Is that some sort of a glitch I should be aware of?
