Text Insert Function -- Automatic Updates -- Problem Solved

Thank you to all who responded.  I have used the suggestions from Rick
Quatro, and we are happy campers now.

Hi Ed,

Go to Edit > Update References and click the Commands popup menu in the
upper right corner of the dialog box. Choose Suppress Automatic
Updating.
Make sure the middle checkbox is unchecked (Suppress Automatic Updating
of All Text Insets) and click Set. Click Update to dismiss the Update
References dialog box.
