I also got an off-list message to that link. I have downloaded it from there.

Now, I just need to get past the next problem now: the activation did not work since I could not de-activate it from the previous system. I had already activated it twice due to a faulty drive some time back - which an Adobe person helped me with a temporary activation license. This particular FrameMaker 8 download (says it on the site) *requires* the license key ... without any 30 day trial period allowed apparently.

So, I have to call Adobe on Monday ... cannot work this weekend to catch up on late items. Mixed feelings there! :)

Argh ... the joy of being all legal and still having to jump through licensing and activation hoops because of piracy from others. Maddening!

I am not sure if it is the latest patch release (8.0p277), so if it is  
not, you need to apply patch installers, all listed here:
