Difference Between Save As and Print to Adobe PDF

This is not correct. You can actually set any default folder you want, or you can set it to always prompt you for the path and filename. 

>From Print Setup, click the Properties button next to the box where you set the Adobe PDF printer. Go to the Adobe PDF Settings tab and you will find a list box for Adobe PDF Output Folder.
