Responses to Can't get a pdf file from FM 10

To the best of my knowledge, the *only* PDF creation tool that preserves the hyperlinks in a FrameMaker book (cross-references, TOC entries, index entries, etc.) in the PDF is Adobe Acrobat--either the full Acrobat suite or the "headless" version of Acrobat Distiller that is bundled with FrameMaker. Regardless of any other issues, this is a deal-breaker for many FrameMaker users. If the only objective is a printable file, there are several alternative PDF tools that would be adequate. But any of your users who read PDF files onscreen will expect at least some interactivity to make the document easier to navigate and use.

The Nitro PDF website describes their tool as being capable of preserving interactive features from Microsoft Office applications, but they make no such claim regarding any other applications from any other vendors.
