Issues Using Windows 7 and FrameMaker 8 & FrameMaker 11

Hi Brenda...

Without knowing more about your automated process, it's hard to say why 
it doesn't work. It could be that your tools aren't compatible with 
Win7, or it could be that your Win7 installation needs to be modified to 
allow the tools to run properly (I guess those are both different sides 
of the same coin).

Win7 has much more strict file access requirements than XP. I'd go back 
to whoever created the automated tools/scripting and have them make the 
necessary adjustments to allow it to work on Win7.

I have been able to run automation with Frame on Win7, so I know it can 
be done. Feel free to contact me off list if you'd like help getting 
this to work.
