Has anyone seen an authoritative reference for this? If I'm not writing man pages or working with some legacy CMS or help authoring tool, I use curved quotes, em and en dashes, and ellipses, but I can't cite any authority for doing so. I've yet to succeed in finding a web-safe monofont with a slashed or dotted zero.
