Desktop Window Manager handles Windows' visual effects. If you're
having problems with it, you might want to turn off all the Aero
stuff. It may be conflicting with that weird UI layer in FrameMaker.
(There's a name for that framework, but I've forgotten it.) I turn off
all that stuff as a distraction and the dwm.exe process shows 0:00:00
of CPU time.
