Editing the MIF file didn't work, for heaven only knows what reason.
Carole's solution does, with the amendment that it is, apparently (based on
doing this for a single file out of ... err, several) not necessary to
perform steps 8 and 9.

Tedious, but do-able. Thanks Carole.
